Andrew James Collette, age 32, Blue Mound, Kansas passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was born on December 1, 1988 in Denver, Colorado the son of Dennis and JoDel Liming Collette. He graduated from high school and furthered his education eventually obtaining an Associate of Arts Degree in Architectural Design. He was united in marriage to Shelley Harvey on November 17, 2011 in Wray, Colorado. He was a member of the Blue Mound Federated Church. Andrew was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed making people laugh. He liked to fish and hunt, snow board and ride his dirt bike. He was also an accomplished dash board drummer. He was preceded in death by his mother, JoDel on May 17, 2018, and his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Leona Collette. Andrew is survived by his wife Shelley, daughters, Presley, Cora, and Penelope(Judy), his father, Dennis Collette, two brothers, Mitchell and Chad Collette, maternal grandfather, Delbert Liming and wife Pat, maternal grandmother, Carol Boone, extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be 11 am Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Blue Mound Federated Church. The service will be livestreamed on the Blue Mound Federated youtube channel. The Blue Moon will be open for additional seating with livestreaming available. Burial in the Sunny Slope Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel.
