Anna Bailey

Anna Elizabeth C. Bailey, 82, of Mound City, Kansas, died Sunday, April 3, 2005 at her home. She was born March 28, 1923 in Dexter, Kansas, the daughter of Roy and Anna Chamblin. She married Jack Bailey on July 9, 1942 in Leavenworth, Kansas. She was a homemaker and member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles and Bill Chamblin and one sister, Frances Guthrie. Survivors include her husband, Jack of Mound City, Kansas; two sons; William Bailey and wife, Sheila of Lansing, Kansas and Ralph Bailey and wife, Karen of McClouth, Kansas; one daughter, Dianna Mecham and husband, Leon, Firth, Idaho; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City, Kansas. Committal services will be held at 2:00 PM at Mt. Muncie Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Arrangements: Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, Mound City, Kansas.
