Anneta was born on July 1, 1938 and raised in DeLeon, Texas. After graduation from DeLeon High School she attended Tarleton State Junior College and earned a BS degree in Business from Texas Wesleyan University in 1960. She was united in marriage to Robert Conway on July 3, 1960 and to this union Selah and Kevin were born. Neta’s ministry was as a pastor’s wife and helpmate, but she was also passionate about being a mother and later a grandmother and great grandmother. Neta taught typing and business courses in several high schools in the towns where they lived. Neta truly cared for the students she taught, and for members of the churches she and Robert served. Friends and church members became part of her family and she loved them deeply. She was always happy when others became part of her family.
Her Lord and Savior called her to her eternal home on January 20, 2021. Mourning her loss are her husband of 60 plus years; her children - Selah (Scott) McBride of Jemison, Alabama, and Kevin (Brenda) Conway of Springfield, Missouri; her grandchildren - Shawna (Eric) Nolin of Calera, Alabama; Schylar (Courtney) McBride of Denver, Colorado; Bennett Conway of Springfield, Missouri; Claire Conway of Springfield, Missouri; and her great granddaughter, Madalynn Nolin of Calera, Alabama.
