Barbara Wyvetta Jackson, 89, of Plainview, Texas died on January 11, 2021.

Barbara was born on July 23, 1931 to Glenn William and Opal Mae (McCarty) Davey in Parker, Kansas. She was widowed at young age when her first husband, Marion Wells Poole died on December 11, 1967.  She married Jimmy Jackson on February 2, 2008 at First Christian Church in Plainview, Texas where she was a deacon and part of the choir. Barbara was involved in the Sr. Dance Club and Pink Ladies. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Jackson of Plainview; and two sisters, Evona McIntosh and Joyce Burns. She was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Opal Davey; and two brothers, John and Rex Davey.

A graveside service will take place at Woodland Cemetery, Mound City, Kansas at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021.  Individual Respects and Guest Registry will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Schneider Funeral Home & Crematory, Mound City Chapel.  Family and friends may leave online condolences at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
