Betty Dean

Betty Dean, age 90, Mound City, Kansas passed away on Thursday May 31, 2018 at Parkview Heights in Garnett, Kansas. She was born in St. Catherine, Missouri on December 27, 1927 the daughter of William and Lula Cordray Stevens. She was married to Archie Dean who preceded her in death on June 22, 2012. She was an independent woman who let you know where she stood on an issue. She enjoyed her grandkids, fishing, and mushroom hunting. Betty is survived by her children, Michael Schasteen, Cheryl Guilfoyle, and Teri Denks, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Graveside funeral service will be held 11 am Monday June 4, 2018 at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookefield, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 3 to 4 pm Sunday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel. The family suggests contributions to St. Jude''s Children''s Hospital.
