Beulah Bell Dick, age 103 of Mound City formerly of Ottawa, Kansas died Friday September 11, 2009 at the Prescott Country View Nursing Home. She was born on September 11, 1906 in Leavenworth, Kansas the daughter of Arthur and Minnie Trustee Carpenter. She married Dale Dick on July 7, 1928 he preceded her in death on August 21, 1964. Beulah enjoyed raising flowers and plants, crocheting, crafts and cooking. She was a member of the North Baptist Church of Ottawa, Kansas and was baptized on September 7, 1956. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Earl and James Carpenter, three sisters; Nellie Karnes, Violet Bowen, and Helen Carpenter. Survivors include a son; Bill Dick and Lena of Mound City, Kansas, three grandchildren David Dick, Martha "Marty" McMillen, and Melinda Ulses, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Services will be held at 10 am Tuesday September 15, at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home Mound City. Visitation will be held form 9 AM to service time at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 12:30 Pm Tuesday September 15, 2009 at the Buster Cemetery near Perry, Kansas. The family suggests contributions to the Prescott Country View Nursing Home.
