Burton Clyde Brownback, age 72, Tri-Ko resident in Osawatomie, Kansas passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025. He was born on May 21, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Clyde and Shirley Drake Brownback. He graduated from Prairie View High School in the Class of 1972. He worked for the Garnett Furniture Factory for twenty years before moving to Tri-Ko in Osawatomie where he lived and was employed. While in high school he was active in FFA and showed hogs. Burton was a member of the Centerville Community Church and the Parker Masonic Lodge #341. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Marion Brownback, and a sister, Josie Lorene Jackson. Burton is survived by two sisters, Marylou Kinder and husband Larry, and Laurel Lee Elliott, sister in law, Carlene Brownback, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:30 am Friday, July 18, 2025 at the Centerville Community Church. Burial will be in the Centerville Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather for a meal and fellowship after the burial at the Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to Prairie FFA or Centerville Community Church.
