Cathy Pettey

Cathy Jean Pettey, age 48, of Fort Scott, Kansas died Sunday April 25, 2010 at the Freeman Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri. She was born on January 20, 1962 at Fullerton, California the daughter of Abel and Laura Yanez Castillo. She is survived by her parents, fiance Edwin Cowan, two daughters, Kristen and Marie Pettey, two brothers, Steve and John Castillo and two sisters Patty Berroteran and Julie Cooke. She was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Bega. Cathy enjoyed the beach, the outdoors and was truly a child at heart. Memorial prayer service will be held 6 PM Thursday April 29, 2010 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Hume, Missouri. Visitation will follow until 8 PM.
