Dawn Helmert

Dawn J. Helmert, age 84, of LaCygne, Kansas passed away on Monday September 23, 2013. She was born on March 27, 1929 at Bronaugh, Missouri the daughter of James and Vivian Daugherty Overstreet. She worked as a teller at the Bank of Pleasanton before retiring. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Murr, daughter, Linda Senkevech, sister, Wanda Johnson, and brother Gerald Lee Overstreet. Dawn was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in LaCygne, the V.F. W. Auxiliary and active with her current husband, David, in the Mirza Shrine. She is also survived by five children; Jimmey Murr and Vickey, Sandra Reynolds and Allen, Jenny Pearce and Doug, Karen Morris and Cecil, and Terri Smith, and many grand, great grand and great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Calvary Baptist Church, LaCygne, Kansas. Cremation will follow the service with inurnment in the Star Valley Cemetery.
