Delbert Eugene Millard, age 79 passed away at Prairie Mission Retirement Village in St. Paul, Kansas on October 18, 2025. He was born the son of James Harvey and Monticello May Henson Millard on May 15, 1946 in Fort Scott, Kansas. Delbert was a grain truck driver for many years. He was a very social guy who enjoyed coloring books, playing bingo, going out to eat and to the ballpark with his best friend, Kent Davis. Delbert also enjoyed cracking pecans, collecting all sorts of different items and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, James Harvey Millard Jr and George Millard, five sisters, Delma Brooks, Laberta Johnson, Mary Wurtz, Eva Burch and Bonnie Studdard and his best friend and advocate, Kent Davis. He is survived by his best friends wife, Marie Davis, she become his advocate after her husband's passing and many other friends and acquaintances at Prairie Mission Retirement Village. Delbert will be greatly missed by the residents and staff. A special thanks goes to all of the volunteers that assist at the Prairie Mission Retirement Village, especially the bingo volunteers.

Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, November 19th at the Prairie Mission Retirement Village 242 Carroll St. Saint Paul, Kansas. Inurnment will be at the Hope Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Prairie Mission Retirement Village and may be sent in care of Schneider Funeral Home P.O. Box 525 Pleasanton, Kansas 66075.
