Dennis Gentry

Dennis James Gentry, age 64 Mound City, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Dennis was born the son of James Jefferson and Lillian Irene Killian Gentry on September 21, 1954 at Sunflower, Kansas. Dennis was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman, who loved camping, fishing and hunting, he had a love of animals, enjoyed playing the guitar and shooting pool. He was a jack of all trades when it came to fixing or working on things. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Brenda. He is survived by son, Bryan Gentry, three daughters, Kimberly Gentry, Brooke Gentry and Angela West, sister, Gayle and six grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel Visitation will follow from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the chapel. The family suggest contributions be made to the Dennis Gentry Memorial Fund and may be sent to Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory P.O. Box 525 Pleasanton, Kansas 66075.
