Dixie Cosens

Dixie Lee Cousens, age 57 of La Cygne, Kansas passed away Thursday, November 30 2006 at her home. She was born May 27, 1949 the daughter of Ralph Leon Stuteville and Lola DeWeese Stuteville. She married Jeff Cousens on June 27, 1988. In addition to being a wife and mother, she was the head cook at Lifestyles of Blackhawk, an assisted living facility in Spring Hill, Kansas. She is survived by her husband, Jeff, of the home, a son Lee Burns of La Cygne, Kansas, a daughter, Amanda Cousens of Linn Valley, Kansas, a brother Ron Stuteville of Paola, Kansas, a sister Lola Stuteville of Paola, Kansas, 2 grandchildren She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon & Lola Stuteville. Funeral services will be 2 P.M., Wednesday, December 6th at the La Cygne Christian Church with burial in Ninety Six Cemetery, La Cygne. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 5th at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, La Cygne.
