Donna Jean O`Brien, 67, of Pleasanton, Kansas died Friday, April 11, 2008 at her home. She was born December 5, 1940 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Wesley W. and Eula G. Doughrty Sanford. She was a homemaker. Donna was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Roberson in 2005; a granddaughter, Jewell Cox in 2000; Oliver Jack Spickler in 1999, a brother, John Sanford and a sister, Nora "Nonie" Huckaby Survivors include her life partner, Lawrence Crabtree of the home; two sons; William Charles "Bill" Banks of West Lafayette, Indiana and Fred Spickler & Lisa of Kansas City, Kansas; five daughters, Mary Scott & Donald of West Lafayette, Indiana, Jackie Parker Barrett & Jeffrey of Amoret, Missouri, Regina Gooderl & Bill of Mound City, Kansas; Penny Ross & Vern and Donna Peters & Terry, all of Pleasanton, Kansas; five brothers, Reece Sanford of Edwardsville, Kansas, Wesley Sanford and James Sims both of St. Paul, Minnesota and Clarence Sanford and Gary Sims, both of Liberty, Missouri; three sisters, Cora Foster of Pleasanton, Kansas, Gladys Naugle of Kansas City, Kansas and Rosemary Cavanaugh of Hermitage, Missouri, and numerous grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 14, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM, Sunday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to Community Hospice. Interment will be in the Prescott Cemetery, Prescott, Kansas. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.coffelschneider.com.
