Doris Ann Prike, 83, of Longmont, Colorado passed away on September 8, 2019. She was born on October 15, 1935 in Turner, Kansas to Clare and Stella Peck. Shortly after graduating from Turner High School, Ann met Bill Prike and they were married on August 7, 1954 in Kansas City, Kansas.
Ann and Bill moved to Denver, CO in 1959 to start a new chapter of their life. Ann started working for Boulder Valley School District as a teacher''s aide at Mesa Elementary School. Later she moved to the District Building as the transportation department secretary and retired from Boulder Valley School District. After retirement, Ann and Bill owned a RV/boat storage business in Glendo, WY. Ann was a proud member of the Eastern Star.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Bill and brother, Lloyd Peck. Ann is survived by her sister, Pauline Pretz, children Mark (Katherine) Prike, Keith (Sandy) Prike and De Ann (Chris) Queen, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be held on Friday September 13, 2019 2PM at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont, Colorado. Graveside service will take place Tuesday September 17, 2019, 3PM at Oak Lawn Cemetery, La Cygne, Kansas.
