Dorothy Nation

Dorothy Irene Nation, age 95, Mound City, Kansas passed away on Saturday July 29, 2017. She was born in Linn County, Kansas on November 8, 1921 the daughter of Raymond and Ada Hines Dean. Dorothy married Leslie Nation on June 21, 1938 in Nevada, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1989. She was a homemaker and a farm wife. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Marvin Dean, Freddie Dean and Archie Borger, and three sisters: Mildred Peery, Iva Clay and Lillian Clay. Dorothy is survived by two sons, Melvin Nation and wife Sue, and L.D. Nation and wife Ruth, seven grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11 am Monday July 31, 2017 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel. Burial will be in the Linnville Cemetery.
