Pauline Bell, 85, of Pleasanton, Kansas passed away Friday, June 09, 2006 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott, Kansas. Pauline was born on February 22, 1921 in LaCygne, Kansas to Lester and Ethel Mills Hoyt. On August 10, 1946 Pauline married Charles Bell in Fort Scott, Kansas. Pauline was a schoolteacher for many years in rural schools throughout Linn County. Pauline also farmed with Charles for many years. Pauline was a member of the United Methodist Church in Prescott, Kansas and also served for many years as the treasure for H.D.U. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Ella Hill and two brothers Clarence and Junior Hoyt. She is survived by her husband Charles of the home, one brother J.W. Hoyt of Jerral, Texas and three sisters; Juanita Hoaglan of LaCygne, Kansas, Hazel Rhynerson of Blue Mound, Kansas, and Glenna Wallace of Leavenworth, Kansas and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 1 PM at the United Methodist Church in Prescott, Kansas. Burial will be at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in LaCygne, Kansas. Visitation will be Monday from 6:30 to 8 PM at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel in Pleasanton, Kansas. Family suggests contributions to Oak Lawn Cemetery and can be left in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.coffelschneider.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, Pleasanton, Kansas.
