Edward Adams

Edward "Ed" Adams, age 64, of Blue Mound, Kansas passed away on Friday October 25, 2013. He was born on January 10, 1949 at Hoxie, Kansas the son of Vernon and Eileene Holmes Adams. He served his country in Vietnam as well as Desert Storm. He married Betty Wright on August 16, 1975 at Blue Mound. He was currently employed with Beachner Grain. Ed was a member of the Blue Mound United Methodist Church, VFW, and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Terry and David Adams. He is survived by his wife Betty, two sons, Clark and Cliff Adams, two daughters Allison Ibbetson and husband James, and Lesley Adams, one brother, Eldon Adams, a sister Sheryl Kaufman and husband Richard,sister in law Vicki Adams, four grand daughters and one grand daughter on the way. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Tuesday October 29, 2013 at the Blue Mound United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Sunny Slope Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Monday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel The family suggests contributions to the Blue Mound United Methodist Church.
