Elizabeth Kopper

Elizabeth W. Kopper, age 98, La Cygne, Kansas passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at her home. She was born on November 21, 1919 at Corning, New York the daughter of Alfred Carrington and Hattie Richardson Windsor. As a young girl, while her father worked for General Electric, she lived and went to school in South America. She married Robert Kopper on November 22, 1946. He preceded her in death in 1988. She worked as an enumerator for the Census Bureau and later for the IRS. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society and La Cygne United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Donald Windsor. Betty is survived by two children, Jo Ann Stark and Tom Kopper and his wife Mary Anne, a grandson Kenneth Stark and wife Irene, and four great grandchildren, Robert and Christopher Stark and Trinity and Justice Roseland. Memorial service will be held 6:30 pm Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 pm to service time.
