Floyd Bardwell

Floyd Edward Bardwell, age 78 of Linn Valley, Kansas formerly of Shawnee, Kansas died Saturday May 19, 2012 at the Louisburg care center. He was born on October 31, 1933 at Olean Missouri the son of Frank and Pearl Bond Bardwell. Floyd served his country with the United States Air Force. Floyd Married Edna Mae Silliman, she preceded in him in death. He then married Shirley Gillum on July 19, 1980. He worked in the grocery Industry for several different grocery stores. He was a member of the Linn Valley Community Church, he was an avoid sports fan and especially like to golf and fish. Also preceding in him death are his parents, a brother Robert Bardwell, and a sister Ethel Sutherland. Survivors include his wife Shirley of La Cygne, Kansas, two sons; Bruce Bardwell of Overland Park, Kansas and Steve Martin of Lenexa, Kansas, two daughters Cheryl Pain of Thornton, Colorado and Pamela Johnson of Lake of The Ozark, Missouri, a brother Frank Bardwell of Prairie Village, Kansas, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday May 22, 2012 at the Linn Valley Community Church at Linn Valley, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 Am to service time at the Church. Burial will be at 1:30 PM Tuesday May 22, 2012 at the Johnson County Memorial Garden Cemetery, In Overland Park, Kansas.
