Garry Paddock

GARRY PADDOCK Garry Owen Paddock, 62, of Blue Mound, Kansas, died Thursday, May 11, 2006, at his home. He was born October 12, 1943 in Blue Mound, Kansas the son of Loren and Ida Dunavan Paddock. He graduated from Blue Mound High School and Kansas State University. He married Carol McLaughlin on April 12, 1963 in Mound City, Kansas. Garry was a farmer and stockman and a co-owner in the Bank of Kincaid. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Blue Mound, Kansas and the Linn County Fair Board. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Carol of the home; his mother, Ida Paddock Sisson of Macksville, Kansas; two sons, Doug Paddock & wife, Cindy of Arlington, Nebraska and Brent Paddock & wife, Lori of Mound City, Kansas; one brother, Larry Paddock & wife, Karen of Fulton, Kansas; one sister, Leatrice Minchew & husband, Bob of Macksville, Kansas; 2 grandchildren, Tyler & Megan; step grandchildren, Sheri & Doug, Lee & Melissa and Mark & Reagan; step great grandchildren, Dylan, Collin, Stephanie & Trey. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 13, 2006 at the Curry Cemetery, Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:30 - 8:00 PM, Friday, at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or Hospice of Kansas.
