Geneva Minor

Geneva Grace Brown Pellett Minor left her earthly journey on March 3, 2017 at Guest Home Estates in Fort Scott, KS. Geneva was born December 7, 1938 in Granola KS, the daughter of James T Brown and Opal B Dunbar Brown. She was raised in Elk County until 1953 when her parents moved to Garnet KS. She married Loren M Pellett June 7th, 1958 until his death in 1975. Of this union two daughters were born, Melba and Lora. Loren and Geneva began their journey in Garland KS with his two children from a previous marriage, Teresa and Eddie. Later she married Robert Minor until his death in 2012. No children were born of this marriage. Survivors are two daughters, Melba Pellett Marsh of Frontenac and Lora Pellett Holdridge and husband Ronald of Fort Scott KS. Two step children Teresa Pellett Allen and husband Dennis of Fort Scot KS and Edward Pellett and wife Karen of Memphis TN. Also surviving is one sister, Joyce Meech of Fort Scott KS, 6 grandchildren, Brian, Raymond, Melissa, Anna, Zack and Daniel, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. A private burial will be held at a later date.
