Gladys Shaw

Gladys Opal Shaw, age 92, Pleasanton, Kansas passed away on Wednesday October 9, 2013 at Prescott Country View. She was born on September 29, 1921 at Amoret, Missouri the daughter of Fred and Cora Mears Shaw. She raised livestock including chickens and cattle. Gladys also worked for many years at Baker''s Thriftway in Pleasanton. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Claude, Charles and Chester Shaw, five sisters: Jewell Mitts, Eiffe Tucker, Leona Mients, Gertrude Keller and Mildred Freed. She is survived by one brother Les Shaw and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Pleasanton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to service time at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel.
