Hardy Williams

Hardy L. Williams age 71 of LaCygne, Kansas died Friday July 7, 2006 at Miami County Medical Center in Paola, Kansas. He was born February 21, 1935 at Drumright, Oklahoma the son of Jesse V and Nancy Moody Williams. He worked in maintenance and as an electrician before retiring. He was an Army veteran and was baptized at the Church of the Nazarene in Pleasanton, Kansas. He married Dorothy Watts on January 3, 1978 at Clay Center, Kansas. He was preceded in death by four brothers: Brooks, Don, Howard, and Bobby; and one sister, Irene. He is survived by his wife Dorothy of the home, four sons: Tony Williams of Sterling, Kansas, Hardy Williams Jr. & Karen of McPherson, Kansas, Ronnie Williams of Odessa, Missouri and Danny Williams & Toni of Galva, Kansas; two daughters; Pam Benfer & Dwight of Langford, Kansas and Tracey Clark & Toby of Richmond, Kansas and several grand and great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday July 11, 2006 at the Prairie Home Cemetery near LaCygne, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 PM Monday July 10, 2006 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in LaCygne, Kansas.
