Harry Smith

Harry Richard Smith, age 53 of LaCygne, KS passed away Aug. 2, 2008 at his home. He was born August 25, 1954 in Independence, MO the son of Bill and Virginia Tyler Smith. He graduated from William Chrisman high school. Harry married Karen Schreier November 3, 1973 in Independence. Harry was a wood worker and member of the Local #1329 carpenters union, he owned and operated the American Woodworks in LaCygne, KS. Survivors include his wife Karen of the home, his mother Virginia Smith of Independence, MO ; two sons Harry R. Smith II and Kimberly of LaCygne; Bill Smith and Melonie of LaCygne; one daughter Anne Self and Chris of Parker, KS, and 4 grandaughters Samantha Self, Rebecca Self, Hayley Smith, and Maggie Smith.
