Hazel Robbins

Hazel Louise Robbins, age 72, La Cygne, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at her home in La Cygne. She was born on September 2, 1945 the daughter of Earl Edward and Nellie Mae Bishop Fleming. She graduated from La Cygne Rural High School in the Class of 1964. She married Kenneth Robbins on June 17, 1971at Cypress, California. Hazel worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell and in the restaurant industry. However, her true occupation was homemaker, taking care of her family. She liked to scrapbook. She made sure that each of the kids had a book. Every Sunday many family members and friends would gather at the Robbins home for "Hazel's Revival". Fellowship and coffee was had in abundance. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, William and Jim Fleming, one sister, Susanna Fleming, a grandchild, Holden, sister in law, Jewel, brother in law, Fred, Nephew, Billy and niece, Julie. Hazel is survived by her husband, Kenneth, two sons, Kenny Robbins and Debra, and Travis Robbins and Teresa, two daughters, Debbie Marmon and Ernie, and Krystle Carter and Kyle, three brothers: Edward Fleming, Joe Fleming and Wilbur Fleming, two sisters, Bonnie Bland and Jessie Russell, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and two on the way.
