IRENE STIDHAM NOLTE Irene Stidham Nolte, 87, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Monday, May 1, 2006 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. She was born May 1, 1919 in Meriam, Kansas, the daughter of William L. and Pearl M. Briggs. She was a member of the Bykota Southern Baptist Church, Pleasanton, Kansas. Irene was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Ray Stidham, two brothers, Bill & Russell and four sisters, Gladys, Rose, Myrtle and Dorothy. Survivors include her husband, Harold of the home; four sons; Thomas Lee Stidham of Edwardsville, Kansas, David Michael Stidham of Wichita, Kansas, Jimmy Dale Stidham of Spring Hill, Kansas and Garry Dean Stidham of Lawrence, Kansas, one step-son, Harold Leon Nolte of Wellsville, Kansas; one step-daughter, Karen Kay of Arkansas; one sister, Mary of California; ten grandchildren, eight step grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and one great great great granddaughter. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to the Bykota Southern Baptist Church of Pleasanton.
