Jacob Neal

Jacob Mac Neal, 28, LaCygne, Kansas died Sunday April 8, 2007 as the result of an accident. He was born January 3, 1979 in Fort Scott, Kansas the son of Barbara McArdle and Dale Neal. He graduated from Prairie View High School in 1997 and attended Pittsburg State University and Kansas State University. He was currently working as an operating engineer for Bezine Excavating. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local #101. Jacob enjoyed playing golf, shooting pool, working with wood, KU basketball and Chiefs football. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Alva and Eunice McArdle. He is survived by his mother Barbara Golladay and her husband Alex of LaCygne, Kansas, his father Dale Neal of Pleasanton, Kansas, paternal grandparents Paris and Wilma Neal of Mound City, Kansas, brother Jess Neal and Debbie of Wellsville, Kansas, sister Heidi Wade and Roy of Prescott, Kansas, step brother Todd Golladay and Sarah of Liberty, Missouri, step sister Tammy Kirk and Ben of Alba, Texas, and nieces and nephews, Hannah, Bowen, Caleb, Faith and Kolby. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, April 12, 2007 at the LaCygne United Methodist Church. Burial will be the Sunny Slope Cemetery at Blue Mound, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in LaCygne. The family suggests contributions to the Jacob Neal Memorial Fund.
