JANET CLAY Janet Lou Clay, 49, of Burlington, Kansas, died Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Olathe, Kansas. She was born January 13, 1957 at Olathe, Kansas, the daughter of Henry and Ivah Dean Clay. She was a graduate of Desoto High School. Janet had been employed as a caregiver with Hartford, Inc. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Sharlene Snovelle and an infant sister, Sandra Kay Clay. Survivors include her companion, Milton Coughenour of Burlington, Kansas; one son; Terry Clay of Gladstone, Missouri; two daughters, Jodie Clay of Livingston, Montana and Kimberly Clay of Olathe, Kansas; five brothers, Gene Clay of Kansas City, Missouri, Jim Clay of Mesquite, Texas, Jack Clay of Gardner, Kansas, Dean Clay of Edgerton, Kansas, and Rick Clay of Desoto, Kansas; two sisters, Linda Sallaz and Betty Strout, both of Olathe, Kansas; three grandchildren, Alex, Cody and Samantha Clay and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 13, 2006 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Contributions are suggested to the Janet Clay Memorial Fund c/o the funeral home. Interment will be in Richland Cemetery, Mound City.
