Jessie Crawford

Jessie Evelyn Crawford age 81 of LaCygne, Kansas died Tuesday December 5, 2006. She was born at Pollock, Missouri on June 14, 1925 the daughter of William and Edith Baumgardner Rodgers. She worked as a nurses aid at Swan Manor before retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband James Crawford, a son, Guy Vance Crawford, a grandson, Eric Burkhead and a grand daughter, Dana Lynn Hathcock, two brothers; William Wayne Rodgers and William Daniel Frazier, and three sisters: Elsie Mae McDowell, Golda Mae Gamble and Velma Hughes. She is survived by one son James Hathcock and Rebecca of Lees Summit, Missouri, four daughters: Cheryl Burkhead and Jim of Colbert, Washington, Donna Stewart and Dick of Hatton, North Dakota, Jamie Copeland and Steve of Olathe, Kansas, and Elizabeth Lewis and Bill of San Diego, California, seventeen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren and two on the way. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday December 9, 2006 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in LaCygne, Kansas. Burial in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until service time at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the Hospice of Kansas or LaCygne Library Building Fund.
