John Mcwilliam

John Roger McWilliam, age 65, Pleasanton, Kansas passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Olathe Medical Center. He was the son of the late John Edwin and Imogene McWilliam; born on Tuesday, December 2, 1952 at Liberal, Kansas. He graduated from Pleasanton High School and worked in the landscape industry. He married Karen Payne on October 20, 2001. He was also preceded in death by a son, John Paul McWilliam. Roger is survived by his wife, Karen, a daughter, Kimberly McWilliam Mayes and husband Jonah, three step daughters: Elizabeth Bradley, Patricia Savage and Alta Dotson; a sister, Elizabeth Arnold Moreno; five grandchildren: Noah, McKinzie, Wyatt, Jerry and CJ and seven step grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2 pm Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Pleasanton Church of the Nazarene. Disposition will be in the Pleasanton Cemetery. Roger will lie in state Saturday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel from 12 noon until 4 pm. Contributions are suggested to the Church or the Roger McWilliam Memorial Fund.
