John Miller

John Keith Miller age 78 of Kincaid, Kansas died Sunday February 11, 2007 at the Golden Living Center in Pittsburg, Kansas. He was born in Blue Mound, Kansas on June 8, 1928 the son of Lee Roy and Melinda Fetters Miller. He graduated from Blue Mound High School in the class of 1946. He married Venita Bruner on September 18, 1949. He worked as a farmer and stockman. He was a member of the Blue Mound Federated Church, past 4 H leader, past member of the Odd Fellows, and the Garnett and Uniontown Saddle Clubs and the MEKWHA. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Venita Marie, a son Virgil Keith Miller, a brother Eugene "Tick" Miller, and a sister Lois Wright. He is survived by his wife Venita of the home, a son Jim Miller and wife Jayne of Garnett, Kansas, two daughters Nancy A. Miller of Warrensburg, Missouri and Marita Meech and husband Jim of Fort Scott, Kansas, a daughter-in-law Nancy Miller of Blue Mound, a brother Ralph Miller and wife Phyllis of Iola, Kansas, a sister Nova Wright of Blue Mound, and eleven grandchildren: Jessica Miller, Jeff Miller and wife Deanatha, Jerrica Miller, Kristen Miller Krull and husband Chad, Jalyssa Miller, Dani Miller, Elizabeth Meech, J.W. Meech, Burke McCullough, Brooke Ann McCullough and Christy Lynn McCullough. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday February 13, 2007 at the Kincaid Selma United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Sunny Slope Cemetery at Blue Mound. Visitation will be held form 6 to 8 PM Monday February 12 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Mound City, Kansas. The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer Foundation or the Keith Miller Anderson County 4 H Memorial. On line condolences for the family can be left at www.coffelschneider.com.
