John Randy Joseph Alan Parker, age 41 of Redfield, Kansas, formerly from Pleasanton passed away as the result of an accident on July 31, 2026. He was born the son of Steven D. Parker and Jacklin J. Spickler on March 3, 1985, at Fort Scott, Kansas. John was a union carpenter and was also a jack of all trades type of person as well. He loved wood working and wood burning. He was a fabulous artist and writer. John also loved to build sound systems as music was a huge part of his life. He is remembered as being the life of the party and made the best of every moment. John was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his father. He is survived by his two sons, Staley Mitchell and Sullivan Douglas Parker, mother, Jacklin J. Barrett and husband, Jeff, a sister, Hannah Parker and husband, Jared, two brothers, James Christopher Brown and Troy Douglas Parker, nephew, Tayden Payne, niece, Hayzlee Payne, a step brother, Devin Barrett, three step sisters, Kayla Worley, Hayley Barrett and Little Hannah McQueen, three brothers from another mother, Dylan Guinn, Brandon Hall and Blake Magathan, one sister from another mister, Robyn Faye, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a Celebration of Life visitation on Tuesday, August 11, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Schneider Funeral Home, Pleasanton Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Core Recovery House. Contributions may be mailed in care of Schneider Funeral Home PO Box 525 Pleasanton, Kansas 66075.
