John Paul McWilliam age 28 of Pleasanton, Kansas died Friday May 12, 2006 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born at Fort Scott, Kansas on December 9, 1977 the son of Roger and Michelle Campbell McWilliam. He married Kim Johnston on December 12, 1998 at Mound City, Kansas. He was currently employed with Extrusions in Fort Scott, Kansas. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Pleasanton and the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Thomas J. Key Camp #1920. He is survived by his wife Kim and children McKinzie, Wyatt, Jerry, and C. J. all of Pleasanton, father, Roger McWilliam of Pleasanton, mother Michelle Beck of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, paternal grandfather Edwin McWilliam of Pleasanton, stepchildren Dalton and Brittany Rhynerson, and sister Kim Ries and husband John of Lee's Summit, Missouri. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday May 17, 2006 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Pleasanton, Kansas. Burial in the Pleasanton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 PM Tuesday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the John P. McWilliam Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
