Johnnie Gooden

Johnnie M. Gooden Jr. age 84, of Osawatomie, Kansas was born on March 5, 1935 and passed away on August 29, 2019. John is survived by his wife Esther L. Westergreen Gooden who he married on September 4, 1955 and was happily married for sixty-five years. He is also survived by two daughters; Peggy Sue Ross and Verna Gail Hawkins; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and a sister, Glena Alagozzine. John was preceded in death by an infant brother, and his parents Johnnie and Lori Mae Gooden. John spent his early years farming and working for Miami County. Later in life, John and Esther spent many years working for the Vermont State Park System which they both greatly loved.
