Karen Hopper

Karen Elaine Hopper, age 63, Linn Valley, Kansas passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Olathe Hospice House. She was born on July 1, 1953 at Mishawaka, Indiana the daughter of Jimmy and Betty Wood Harris. She married Kenneth Hopper. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2016. Karen was very involved in foster care and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post # 1894 in Clinton, Missouri serving recently as chaplain. She was also preceded in death by her father and a brother, Alan. She is survived by a son Derek Hopper and wife Danielle, grandchildren Cruz, Bailey and Sophia Hopper, her mother, Betty Harris, sister Linda Parks, and two brothers, Jack and Jim Harris.
