Karen Mcquitty

Karen L. McQuitty, 66, of Roeland park, Kansas, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam, Kansas. She was born July 27, 1941 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Eddie and Marjorie Umphenour Black. She was employed as head of payroll with Yellow Freight in Overland Park, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Black. Survivors include her mother, Marjorie Black; one son, John McQuitty and Rachel of Roeland Park, Kansas; one sister, Sharon Black of Denver, Colorado and three grandchildren, Ridgely, Beckett and Dalton. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time.
