Louis Edwin Benson

Louis Edwin "Eddy" Benson, age 59, La Cygne, Kansas passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023.  He was born in Paola, Kansas on July 21, 1964 the son of Larry Benson and Linda Virgin.  He graduated from Prairie View High School in the Class of 1982.  He then attended trade school at Beloit, Kansas receiving a certification as an operating engineer in 1983.  He became a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local #101 on September 1, 1987.  Eddy enjoyed fishing, hunting, guns and anything outdoors.  He loved kids, supporting many organizations along the way.  He is survived by his mother, Linda McCammon and husband James, his father, Larry Benson and wife Barbara, a brother Rodney Benson and wife Christina, a niece Sabrina Benson and fiance David Hartman, and a great niece Bristol Hartman.
