Mair Stoker

Mair Elizabeth Eleanor Stoker, age 87, La Cygne, Kansas passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the Health Care Resort of Olathe. She was born on November 6, 1930 at Barry Island South Wales the daughter of Melbourne and Mary Kate Williams Richards. She married Clayton Stoker on September 11, 1954 at Loudwater, England. Mair was a homemaker. She gardened and raised flowers, was a wonderful cook, enjoyed knitting and was fond of hummingbirds and Christmas Cactus. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Megan, and four brothers: Guilliam, Ronald, Clifford and Brynly. Mair is survived by her husband, Clayton, two daughters, Cheryl Speck and husband Rick and Bronwen Sharp and husband Tom; five grandchildren: Joel, Erin, Colleen, Cara and Cameron; three great grandchildren: Madelyn, Olivia and Clayton and a great granddaughter, Kennedy, who is expected to arrive very shortly. Funeral service will be 11 am Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Schneider Funeral Home, La Cygne Chapel. Burial will be in the Star Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 am to service time at the La Cygne Chapel. Contributions are suggested to Shriners Children''s Hospital, Crossroads Hospice or Health Care Resort of Olathe.
