Mary Ellen Cochran

Mary Ellen Cochran, age 85, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on June 4, 2024.  Mary was born the daughter of William Patrick and Annette J. Teig McCauley on December 27, 1938 at Omaha, Nebraska.  She married Terrance "Terry" Charles Cochran  on July 11, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska, he preceded her in death on May 30, 2009.  She received an associates degree from Marymount College in Los Angeles, California and also attended Duchesne College in Omaha, Nebraska.  Mary was a member of the Lions Club of Overland Park, she loved reading and gardening.  But most of all she loved and cherished her family.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, William McCauley two sisters, Lee McCauley and Wilanne Korth and a grandchild, Janina Marie Vasquez.  She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Marie Cox and husband Larry, Jenny Esther Cochran, one son, Terry Charles Cochran, one grandchild, Joshua George Vasquez and two great grandchildren, Diego and Lela.

Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel.  Visitation will be held from 12 pm to service time.  Contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Foundation and may be sent in care of Schneider Funeral Home P.O.
