May Louise Krause, age 83, Centerville, Kansas passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019. She was born on November 1, 1935 at Seneca, Nebraska the daughter of George and Eldora Stabler Morton. She was united in marriage to Frank Krause on June 26, 1955. She worked alongside Frank as a farmwife and homemaker. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2003. She enjoyed reading, gardening,quilting, and was a connoisseur of fried chicken. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Ray, James and Fritz; and a sister, Carol. May is survived by two sons, Terry Krause and wife, Cathy and Glen Krause and wife Donna; four daughters: Virginia "Ginny" Coleman and husband Don, Kathy Babinski and husband Peter, Marla Prothe and husband Kevin, and Karla Homrighausen and husband Carl; a brother, Richard; eleven grandchildren: Kelly, Megan, Michelle, Derek, Bethany, Ryan, Brett, Lisa, Julie, Justin and Brooke; and six great grandchildren: Mason, Easton, Hailey, Ella May, Connor and Graham.

Graveside service will be 10 am Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Centerville, Kansas Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer''s Foundation, c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O. Box J, Mound City, KS 66056. Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com. Arrangements: Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel.
