Norman Barber

Norman Dean Barber, age 78, of LaCygne, Kansas, died Saturday, April 30, 2005 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. He was born December 23, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri to Hugh and Sybil Stewart Barber. After high school he joined the Navy and served 20 years before retiring. Norman married Thelma Odean on october 25, 1956. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Kansas City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma on September 9, 1984 and both parents. Norman is suvived by his Aunt Darline Lawton of Independence, Missouri; three cousins, Annette Manley and her husband, Bob, Wanda Lay and her husband, Charlie, all of Independence, Missouri and Carol Johnson and her husband, Harvey of Gladstone, Missouri.
