Norman Kettler

Norman L. Kettler, age 88, Paola, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at his home. He was born on June 1, 1927 at Block, Kansas the son of Herman and Emma Block Kettler. He married Illene Mendenhall on March 11, 1951 at Paola, Kansas. Together Illene and he farmed until retirement. He was a member of the New Lancaster United Methodist Church. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Delton Kettler and a sister Lorene Medlen. He is survived by his wife, Illene, two sons, Randy and Kevin Kettler, thirteen grand and three great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at the New Lancaster United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the New Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel.
