Norman Rothrock

Norman Franklin Rothrock Jr., "Rocky", age 54, of LaCygne, Kansas died Sunday April 27, 2008. He was born April 25, 1954 at Manhattan, Kansas the son of Norman Franklin and Marcia A. Manson Rothrock. He worked as a machinist for Kansas City Power & Light for the past twenty years. He was a member of the IBEW, Ducks Unlimited, NRA, and the Fraternal Order of Police. He was preceded in death by a sister, Roxana Boyce. He is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Berry and Neal of Girard, Kansas and Heather Thornley and Andrew of Chilhowee, Missouri, three stepsons, Chris Christian of LaCygne, Mike Newberry of LaCygne, and Kevin Newberry of Girard, Kansas, two stepdaughters Brenda Christian and Wanda Chrstian both of LaCygne, one brother J. Brian Rothrock and Dixie of Shawnee, Kansas, two sisters Ellen Carnie and Charlie of Plattsburg, Missouri and Liza Mebarek of Overland Park, Kansas, twelve grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday May 2, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in LaCygne, Kansas. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery.
