Peggy L. Finley, age 77, Webb City, Missouri passed away on Friday March 15, 2019 at Freeman West in Joplin, Missouri. She was born on October 9, 1941 at Fort Scott, Kansas the daughter of Charles Eldon and Mary Lillie Pellett Harper. She graduated from Fort Scott High School, Fort Scott Community College and Missouri Southern State University, where she received her Bachelor''s in Human Resources. Peggy was united in marriage to Carroll Finley on March 9, 1963 at the Hume United Methodist Church. She was a Methodist and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Karen S. Shaffer. Peggy is survived by her husband, Carroll, two sons, Mark E. Finley and wife, Kristin, and Michael E. Finley and wife, Edith; a daughter, Cherie L. Weible and husband John; a brother, Joseph Harper and six grandchildren: Ian, Shannon, Kelsey, Delaney, Holland and Braun. Graveside funeral service will be 2 pm Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Independence Cemetery near Hume, Missouri. Friends and family may gather from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel.
