Pete Mincks

Weslie Roger "Pete" Mincks, age 54, Fort Scott, Kansas formerly of Pleasanton, Kansas passed Thursday, December 10, 2020.  He was born on January 1, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Leslie Mincks and Myrle Neal Purdy.  He graduated from Cass Midway High School.  He was united in marriage to Claire Roberts.  Pete worked as a mechanic and tire repairman.  He loved his family very much.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Pete is survived by his wife Claire, two daughters, Morgan Watts(Jimmy), and Jacque Hymer(Jaydan), six brothers, Dale Mincks(Kathy), Deannie Mincks(Debbie), Jimmy Mincks(Lisa), Rob Purdy(Susan), Chuck Mincks(Melissa), and Shane Mincks, five sisters, Donna Jones(Ronnie), Carol Huff, Rita Struble(Mike), Vonda Geeding(Pete) and Shonna Mincks(Joe), four grandchildren, Rylee, Lane, Maycie, and Dizzy, and a grand dog, Lillyann Flower.

Funeral service 10:30 am Tuesday, December 15, 2020 Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel.  Burial in Glenwild Cemetery, Cleveland, Missouri.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Monday December 14, 2020 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Mincks Family or the Amyloidosis Research Foundation, c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O. Box 525, Pleasanton, KS  66075.
