Ramona & Wayne Holland

Prescott, Kansas

Keith Wayne Holland, age 70, (8-6-1955 to 12-2-2025) and Ramona June Holland, age 69, (4-19-1956 to 2-6-2026), passed away peacefully just two months apart, closing a beautiful chapter of a life shared together for decades.

Keith was born in Jacksonville, Florida to parents T.J. and Madge (Bartley) Holland. Ramona was born in Dallas, Oregon to parents Paul and Shirley (McGown) Stogsdill.

Keith and Mona were united in marriage in 1975, beginning a lifelong partnership built on love, dedication, and devotion to family. Married 50 years, they most recently resided in Prescott, Kansas, where they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.

Keith spent many years working as a painter in the Painters Union #861 of Kansas City, Mo. Keith took pride in his craft and provided faithfully for his family. Keith had a passion for fly fishing, photography, and music. Whether it was tying flies, making custom fishing rods, or playing music, Keith was a true artist. An avid outdoorsman, Keith loved everything in nature. Mona devoted her life to her home and family as a homemaker, creating a nurturing and loving environment that shaped generations. She had a way of making everyone feel like family. She would welcome you to her home and treat you like you belonged.

Together, they shared a deep love for Colorado and especially treasured their visits to the Cataract Ridge region. The beauty of the mountains and the peace of nature reflected the simple joys they appreciated throughout their lives. They had a deep love for music and enjoyed going to concerts together. Keith was even in a band, Pegasus, and loved playing guitar. Whether traveling, enjoying the outdoors, listening to music, or spending quiet time together, Keith and Mona found happiness in one another’s company.

They were proud parents of their two children, Jennifer Holland and Jason Holland, who survive them. Keith is survived by his brother, Michael Holland. Ramona is survived by her siblings Greg, Shirlene, and Michael Stogsdill. They also leave behind their beloved grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish their memory.

Keith and Mona’s enduring love story, commitment to family, and appreciation for life’s simple blessings will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew them.

Their cremated ashes will be taken to the Colorado Mountains for a private family ceremony later in the year.
