Richard Roll

RICHARD L. ROLL Richard Leroy Roll, 77, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006. He was born May 1, 1929 in Malta Bend, Missouri, the son of Kelly and Pauline Anders Roll. He married Norma Jean Sears on October 17, 1953 at Clinton, Missouri. Richard was employed as an ironworker prior to his retirement. He was a veteran, serving in the United States Army. He was a member of the Mission Creek Baptist Church and the Ironworkers Union #10. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bobby, Bill and Wayne Roll and a son-in-law, Jack Kielman. Survivors include one son, Ricky Roll & Cathy of Edwardsville, Kansas; two daughters, Debra Mayse & Scott and Sherry Kielman, all of Pleasanton, Kansas; and six grandchildren, Shannon, Angela, Jack Jr., Shelley, Chris and Nick. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM, Monday, December 4, 2006 at the National Cemetery, Fort Scott, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to the Bykota Southern Baptist Church.
