Robert Cox

Robert Jeffrey Cox, age 73, Linn Valley, Kansas passed away on December 25, 2017 at the Miami County Medical Center. He was born on January 5, 1944 at Leon, Iowa the son of James and Maxine Bigley Cox. He worked as a meat cutter most of his life. He had a wholesale meat supply business in the Kansas City Metro area. He married Joan Blakesley on September 1, 2001 at California, Missouri. Bob was a member of the Linn Valley Community Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael Cox, a brother, James Cox and step son Kenneth Mack. He is survived by his wife Joan of the home, a son, Robert J. Cox Jr., a step son Gregory Jones, two brothers, Jack and Bill Cox, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial service will be 11 am Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Linn Valley Community Church. Visitation will be from 10 am to service time at the church.
