Ronald Raymond Howard

Ronald Raymond Howard, age 80 of Pleasanton, Kansas passed away on July 20, 2026 at the Olathe Medical Center. He was born the son of Melvin and Ruth Fischer Howard on April 7, 1946 in Hamburg, Iowa. Ron was an artist and studied first at the Kansas City Art Institute and then traveling to New York where he earned his masters degree. He loved working with his hands, not only sculpting with his artwork, but also in woodworking, fixing electric bikes and anything that needed fixing he would give it a try. He was a very intelligent and knowledgeable person and liked to talk. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sharon and two sisters, Beverly Hudson and Betty Johnson. Ron is survived by his daughter, April (A.J.) Howard, two grandchildren, Christian Lee Bolner and Danielle Nicole Ward and one great grandchild Luke Alexander Ward with another on the way.
