Rosalie Oberlechner

Rosalie Oberlechner, 69, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Miami County Medical Center, Paola, Kansas. She was born August 29, 1938 in Buchanan County, Missouri, the daughter of Harold and Madeline Viola Richardson Owens. She was a homemaker and member of the First Christian Church, Pleasanton, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harold, and four sisters, Virginia, Barbara, Nancy and Joan and one daughter, Melinda Cunningham. Survivors include five sons; Louis Ruble Cunningham of Flippen, Arkansas, Bobby Cunningham of St. Joseph, Missouri, Harold Cunningham of Pleasanton, Kansas, Matthew Oberlechner of Pleasanton, Kansas and Butch (???); two daughters, Jeannie Kenney of Jasper, Arkansas and Christy Matthews of Osawatomie, Kansas; two brothers, Tommy Owens of St. Joseph, Missouri and Richard Owens; three sisters, Vivian Grissom of St. Joseph, Missouri, Joyce Cole of Olathe, Kansas and Wilma Joy of Oklahoma; twenty-three grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Friday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the family c/o the funeral home. Interment will be in the Pleasanton Cemetery.
